Hello one and all!
Well, I'm back again! I'm pretty exhausted from a busy weekend and school on Monday, but because I'm feeling refreshed I'm now getting along smoothly.
I also have found that I'm enjoying maths more. And I've got Vi Hart's song about a Consistent Circle stuck in my head. If you haven't heard of her, look up her channel on Youtube, she's a mathmusicion, and pretty awesome! Just search Vi Hart, and click any of her funny math/music related videos.
What am I doing, talking about maths?! Lets go to the poetry. I've been getting stuck for ideas with my poem writing, so I've done another one about friends. Here it is!
Friends
People are like weeds,
Everywhere and anywhere.
Friends are like roses,
standing tall and proud.
Friends are like the stars,
Sending showers of glitter.
Or sometimes music,
Soft upon your ear.
They are the sun in a cloudy sky,
Warmth in the bitter cold.
Friends are fun, friends are sweet,
Here to make you laugh,
Here to share and have good times.
People are like weeds,
Everywhere and anywhere.
Friends are like roses,
Standing proud and tall.
The second poem on friends. I wonder if I should do a Poem based off the LEGO Friends theme... might help with some of the problems I'm having. Yeah, I'll do that next week (Or on the bus) and try to make it catchy. (If any of you gals from the LMB are reading this, feel free to post the poem up on there after it's came out. Just remember to say it's by me! :) ) After that I'm getting some books full of pictures and writing poems based off them.
I've just realized that my blog is now 1 year and a few days old! I'm amazed that I've gotten up to my 41st post - my cooking blog has got less of them, I think. Also I'd like to say that my Ninjgo Blog got over 500 views in it's first month month. Thanks to those 500 people! (BTW, I'm hoping to put up parts about Sensei Wu, Lord Garmadon, and the Villains, and then I'll post up some of the new stuff. ;) )
Well, have a good week every one, and I'll see you next week or sooner!

Danny Wise, who lost his Eyes
Hello one and all!
Well, after a long break, in which I was having a semi-relaxed holiday, I am now back at school (which I was missing for the first time ever). Summer is now slowly cooling down, but it doesn't stop us from going to the pool even on week days!
Well, I've been doing stuff from my book "The Odeless Traveled", by Steven Fry, and one of the exercises was to finish off a Ballard Mr Fry had started. So here it is:
Danny Wise, who lost his Eyes
Now gather round and let me tell
The tale of Danny Wise:
And how his sweet wife Annabelle
Did suck out both his eyes.
And if I tell the Story true,
And if I tell it clear
There's not a mortal one of you,
Won't shriek in mortal fear.
It happened not to long ago,
T'was the 28th of June,
Man and Wife sat at table so,
Eating soup with a spoon.
Then forward leant Annabelle
Whispered in her husband's ear,
Told a story for him to tell,
The moral was very clear!
So Danny Wise closed his eyes,
Annabelle knocked him out,
She dragged him through the house,
Stuffed him up the chimney spout.
She kissed him once, kissed him twice,
His eyes fell in her pot,
She decided to cook 'em with rice,
And eat them in her cot.
She died a week later,
of a terrible disease,
That they call "EyeballBater"
Danny went over seas.
Now both are sleepin'
Deep under ground,
Annabelle stopped eating -
Her lesson long found.
I hope I told this well,
And that the Moral was clear,
Never trust young Annabelle,
Danny's wife so dear!
There! Thats the Ballard. It was one hard thing to do, finishing off some one else's thing, but I did it. Only problem was that it took an hour. Can you see where my part begins, and Steven Fry's finishes?
Well, If you're lucky there will be another poem/Ballard/thing up next week! I'm also planning to do a Story blog for certain stories that I never put up, so if I do I'll post the Link up.
Happy Reading!
