Danny Wise, who lost his Eyes

Hello one and all!
Well, after a long break, in which I was having a semi-relaxed holiday, I am now back at school (which I was missing for the first time ever). Summer is now slowly cooling down, but it doesn't stop us from going to the pool even on week days!

Well, I've been doing stuff from my book "The Odeless Traveled", by Steven Fry, and one of the exercises was to finish off a Ballard Mr Fry had started. So here it is:

Danny Wise, who lost his Eyes

Now gather round and let me tell
  The tale of Danny Wise:
And how his sweet wife Annabelle
Did suck out both his eyes.

And if I tell the Story true,
And if I tell it clear
There's not a mortal one of you,
  Won't shriek in mortal fear.

It happened not to long ago,
  T'was the 28th of June,
Man and Wife sat at table so,
  Eating soup with a spoon.

 Then forward leant Annabelle
  Whispered in her husband's ear,
Told a story for him to tell,
  The moral was very clear!

So Danny Wise closed his eyes,
  Annabelle knocked him out,
She dragged him through the house,
Stuffed him up the chimney spout.

She kissed him once, kissed him twice,
His eyes fell in her pot,
She decided to cook 'em with rice,
And eat them in her cot.

 She died a week later,
  of a terrible disease,
 That they call "EyeballBater"
  Danny went over seas.

 Now both are sleepin'
  Deep under ground,
 Annabelle stopped eating -
  Her lesson long found.

I hope I told this well,
And that the Moral was clear,
 Never trust young Annabelle,
  Danny's wife so dear!

There! Thats the Ballard. It was one hard thing to do, finishing off some one else's thing, but I did it. Only problem was that it took an hour. Can you see where my part begins, and Steven Fry's finishes?

Well, If you're lucky there will be another poem/Ballard/thing up next week! I'm also planning to do a Story blog for certain stories that I never put up, so if I do I'll post the Link up.
Happy Reading!
