A few Poems

Hallo! :D

So, earlier in the month, I went to a poetry workshop held by my local library.  We did some poem writing (of course :P) and then I lost the notepad I had written my poems on.

But I found it today. :P So here are the poems I had written!

  Blue, Not a cloud
 In the sky.
  The summer breeze wafts
 Down the street
  A few birds warble their
 Songs of joy.
  The bees hum in chorus,
 Going on their rounds.
  The flowers on their trees,
 Send sweet scents.
The people unconsciously notice. The house remains oblivious.

 The LEGO

My LEGO sits in an old, blue trunk.
It's a wonderful mess of colours.
  A wonderful mess of bricks.
It's hard, plastic sides are strong.
It's crashing, shhing sound is loud.
  The bricks are painful underfoot.
The bricks are hard on the hand.

  The houses sit in rows,
The cars are parked in lines.
  The minifigures stand in columns.
It's a hard, plastic world of LEGO.

 OK, now for some haiku:

   Royal Hope:
   It's a Girl thing,
   Snow Empress.

  Inferno,
  Dangerously pepper jet.
  Outback legend.

OK, so those were the poems I wrote! The LEGO one is my favourite. Although the "Royal Hope" haiku is also pretty good.

Well, I must go and write my essay on WW1. I'll probably be on again tomorrow morning.
If you have any questions about NaNoWriMo, make sure to ask them and I'll answer in my posts. ;)

 Keep on writing! :D
